"Hamony Cup" Folk Dance Competition starts recently in Xicheng District, 41 dancing teams from party and government organs, enterprises, institutions in Xicheng District took part in the competition. The competitors performed dance of Dai nationality, Mogolian nationality, dance of SuHang District, dance of Tailand and other folk dances.

"We sincerly hope that we can show the beauty of our nation through our performance. We also hope that, in this way, we can contribute to the 2008 Olympic Games. Besides, although we can't perform in the quake-hit areas, our dance could convey our love to those quake-affected people. We really hope they can be optimistic about their future and rebuild their home again." said ZhanYanyan, secretary of Communist Youth League Branch of the 6^th kindergarten in BeiJing. She's in charge of the dance Beauty of Taihu Lake in the competition.
