On Aug. 13rd, the 500-year-old Guangfuguan in Yandai Byway reopened after being repaired. In Guangfuguan, "Beautiful Scenery of JingHua-----Shichihai History and Culture Exhibition" also opened to public.
 The exhibition is sponsored by the information department of Xicheng District committee, Shichahai street and Shichahai Research Institute, with the cooperation of Capital Museum. The exhibition, which introduces the history and culture of Shichahai, is a long-term one and free of charge. Chen Qigang, vice minister of Publicity Ministry of the Municipal Committee, Jiang Gongmin, director of Municipal Cultural Bureau, LinDuo, general secretary of Xicheng District Party Committee, and other district leaders also attended the opening ceremony.
 Shichahai is one of the areas whose ancient appearances are most well-protected. This is a place where cultural scenery and natural scenery merge together, ancient culture and modern civilization enhance each other's beauty. The local citizens spend their leisure time here. Tourist from other places in China or from foreign countries take here as the first choice to experience the culture and custom of the original Beijing.
 The Shichahai History and Culture Exhibition has 6 parts, including changes and developments, architectural culture, natural scenery, folk culture, commercial culture, the succession of civilization. There are more than 200 items on display, including old photoes, oven of Qing Dynasty, wine pot from prince mansion, ancient huge bowl and other old objects. Multimedia technology is used to introduce and explain the items.
