According to the district tourism bureau, during the "October Golden Week", various tourist programs are ready for citizens and tourists in Beijing.
 
 During the October Golden Week, Shichahai Cultural History Exhibition would be continuely held in Guangfuguan. By the exhibition, tourists can get a systematic idea of the history, architectural style, natural scenery, folk culture and inherited civilization of Shichahai area. The more than 200 old pictures and articles present the original historical appearance of Shichahai area.
 
 On Yandai Byway, which had been perfectly renovated, the original appearance of the old street is well-preserved, shops of folk art and special flavored bars welcome tourists from all over the world.
 
 The 5000-year-old Treasure Exhibition will be held in the Capital Museum, national treasures from across the country show the extensive and profound Chinese culture from the historical angle, the scientific angle and artistic angle.
 
 In the Residence of Prince Gong, which officially opened on August, 20th , Danish Imperial Life Exhibition, pictures of national leaders in Residence of Prince Gong and many other exhibitions are held during the October Golden Week.
 
 The "Chinese People in WenChuan Earthquake"  Exhibition will be held in Chinese Geological Museum. The exhibition of pictures and words gives an account of the moving stories during the earthquake.
 
    Besides, calligraphy and inscription exhibitions are held in Beihai Park. Tourists can admire the top-notch inscription works of famous calligrapher from the Wei and Jin Dynasty to late Ming Dynasty.
