　　白云观坐落于北京西城区西便门外，是北京最大的道观，全国重点文物保护单位，道教全真三大祖庭之一，全真龙门派的发源地。始建于唐开元二十九年（741），初名天长观，几经毁建，明初扩建后易名为白云观。现存建筑多为明清复建，由中、东、西三路及云集园组成，主要殿宇集中于中路，依次为牌楼、山门、灵官殿、玉皇殿、老律堂、邱祖殿、四御殿、戒台与云集山房等，殿内装饰以道教图案。观内殿宇恢弘，景色清幽，集南北宫观、园林特点于一身。

　　The White Cloud Temple is situated in the Xibianmen city gate Xicheng District Beijing City.It’s the biggest Daoist Temple and the historical site under the protection of China.It’s one of the three Daoist center and the birthplace of Longmen Subsect of Quan Zhen Daoist Sect.The White Cloud Temple is built in 741 and named Tianchang Temple at that time.The temple is renamed the White Cloud Temple in the beginning of the Ming Dynasty. The existent constructions of it today is renovated in Ming and Qing Dynasty.The temple is laid out along three north-south axes and Yunji Garden at the rear.On the main central axis,from front to rear,are the front gate,Wofeng Bridge,the shrine halls of Lingguan,of the Jade Emperor,of Qiu Changchun,of Siyu and Laol.The halls is decorated with the Daoist pattern.The landscape of the temple is quiet and beautiful.
