月坛

　　月坛位于西城区月坛北街，又名夕月坛，占地面积约8万平方米。始建于明嘉靖九年（1530年），是明清两代皇帝“秋分”祭祀夜明之神（月亮）和天上诸星宿的专用场所。2006年5月25日被列为全国重点文物保护单位。月坛现存具服殿、神厨、神库、钟楼、外坛墙、东、北天门等古代建筑。月坛选位、规划、建筑以及祭祀礼仪和祭祀乐舞均依据中国古代《周易》阴阳、五行等学说设计，突破了中国传统的中轴线为主的格局。

　　YUETAN Introduction：
　　At the YUETAN, YUETAN North Street, Xicheng District, YUETAN also known as Platform of the altar, covering about 80,000 square meters. Founded in nineteenth year under the reign Jiajing of the Ming Dynasty(1530), Ming and Qing dynasties Emperor "Equinox" worship God that night (the moon) and the sky Zhu predicting areas. May 25, 2006 was classified as a key national cultural protection units. YUETAN on the existing Accoutrement-storing palace, Sacred kitchen , Sacred warehouse, Bell Tower, the altar wall, East holy gate，North holy gate ancient architecture. On YUETAN of the election, planning, construction and worship rituals and worship ancient Chinese music and dance are based on the "Book of Changes" Yin and Yang, the Five Elements theory, design, a breakthrough of traditional Chinese axis of the main pattern.
